My 14 year old baby died with all her teeth, no gingivitis. I made sure she was happy and comfortable and that includes taking care of her: brushing daily and yearly prophylaxis

I brush both my dogs teeth every day. One is a Bull Terrier and one is a rescue Jack Russell, so didn't grow up having his teeth brushed!

I use a silicon finger brush and my dog tolerates it. As long as your dog is okay with you putting your finger in there you all good lol
