@clinician.insight: 🔍🫀 Inside the Gallbladder: A Stone-Cold Discovery! 🫀🔍 Watch as surgeons carefully dissect a gallbladder and open it up to reveal multiple gallstones hidden inside — a perfect real-life example of what causes biliary colic, indigestion, vomiting, and right upper abdominal pain. In this video, you’ll see how the gallbladder, a small pear-shaped organ under the liver, becomes packed with hard stone-like deposits formed from cholesterol and bile pigments. As the incision is made, the stones spill out like marbles, showing exactly why patients suffer from recurrent pain after fatty meals and why cholecystectomy is often the final cure. This is not just surgery — it’s pathology coming alive 🧠✨ From obstruction of the cystic duct to inflammation (cholecystitis) and risk of infection or pancreatitis, this one specimen explains it all in seconds. ⚠️ Satisfying, educational, and a little shocking — real medicine, real problems, real solutions. #gallstones #cholecystectomy #surgery #medtok #doctors #pathology #generalsurgery #anatomy #medicalstudent #surgicalspecimen #oddlysatisfying #healthawareness #biliarycolic #cholecystitis #operationtheatre #medlife #shorts #reels #tiktokmedicine #learning #education #fyp #foryou #viral #medicalcontent 🫀🩺

your having major surgery. whether it's keyhole or normal, both create scar tissue. you will b uncomfortable for a couple of weeks but you should hopefully be able to return to work. its not that traumatic
