It is one of the band’s most frequently performed live songs and a fan favorite. According to Zacky Vengeance, the song tells the story of a man who dies too soon and finds himself in heaven. Upon entering, he realizes that he has too many things left undone and unresolved on Earth. Vocalist M. Shadows told Kerrang! magazine: “It’s about looking into a reflection of yourself. It uses a sort of metaphor of falling into the afterlife and arguing with the gods, realizing that you left too soon and didn’t do the things you needed to do. You didn’t make amends with your father; you didn’t let the people you love know that you love them.
