It’s crazy to me that they allow you to go home 24 hours after c-section. In my country, they keep you in hospital around 4-5 days after c-section and for 3 days after normal vbac. They take care of you and the baby for that time, show you stuff, you get lactation consults and physio consult so you know how to move and what to do at home.

Yess! I never felt any pressure from my midwives to get up straight away. If anything they were shocked when I asked them to take my catheter out so I could go shower. I hadn’t showered properly in a few days and I was just itching to feel clean before my parents were coming in to see me. I felt 11/10 after the shower🥰

How does it feel pushing the pram? I’m terrified of having to do the school run with a pram after a c section especially as I’m slightly up a hill 😰😰❤️

The frida c section disposable underwear was amazing. I only used them after my second c section and wished I used them with my first too

nearly 6 weeks post c-section. I'm doing everything I was doing before surgery now. just a few days until I can drive and have a bath. I can sleep on my side and front which is amazing. Also interesting to hear the difference in advice. I was told I could stop wearing compression socks when I was discharged (2 days pp because I had to have iv antibiotics) and I had to leave the bandage on until day 5.
