Saying “Boujie” originated in the 90’s in America, it slowly migrated to the UK when we started saying it again around when I was in high school in 2016, it kinda died off here around Covid so it makes sense why people here in high school wouldn’t know that term I guess

Boujie is definitely used here in America, the others aren’t. I’m UK born and lived here a long time, I use all of them, and most of the time people understand what I mean, but if they’re younger they may not.

‘Boujie’ is very common but regionally we have lots of alternatives. The rest are all women’s words. We’d understand them, but only women would say them. Especially in New England
