I don’t go to church for 2 reasons 1) socializing drains me like crazy and everyone want to talk to everyone there. I can’t talk to more than like 3 people in a day, it makes me feel mentally and physically sick. And 2) the screaming most pastors do triggers my ptsd. When I watch at home I stilll hear the word but I can turn the volume down a bit. I’m working on it tho maybe I haven’t found the right church for me.

Not all the time people leave the church because they hurt you most times is because the Holy Spirit tells you to do something or say something and they hurt you for that and they don’t believe then they bully you.

When it is the pastors of the church who willing participate in the abuse of the volunteering members with no consequences for the staff or pastors who continue to abuse the volunteers it is the leadership of the church. Church hurt is real and many people need healed from the abuse that goes on without confrontation. If you have a relationship with God the hurt does not push you away from God but actually closer to him and removing yourself from the abuse is the right thing to do....The church does not define my salvation Jesus does and my personal relationship with him is my entrance to heaven not the church. Church does not guarantee salvation nor does my Christianity die because it stems from Jesus and not works....my salvation comes by grace not attending church.
