As a former o lineman this is a bit of a cheap rep on the d lineman. 1 on 1s are meant for the d line to work a pass rush move and not to simply bull rush. Not saying this isn’t a good pass rushing move for in game, but the fact is that bull rushes are not something many guys, especially at a collegiate all star level, need to work on. For the sake of the drill it’s just a bit cheap. The d lineman knows the o lineman is unprepared for a bull rush, and was able to take advantage of the o lineman for it. O line sympathizer take, but as a former o lineman I’ll always defend my brothers

to those saying verse. yes hes elite. yes he bullrushes. but his bullrushes come elite caused from the pressure from the rest of the dline. that doesnt take away from his skills, but its a major reason it works. an edge is usually considered elite when he can change a teams defense. which is when u need them to get to the edge the most because of lack of pressure

Stopped his feet, didn’t hold his stance, and caught the defender… Will get you beat everytime. Foot work is key when playing on the Line.

Exactly. This one rep is gonna get this Michigan dude drafted higher but imo he shouldn’t be higher than a 4th or 5th rounder. Dude was getting locked up by lower grade lineman before this
