My grandpa used to make them with canned prunes. He’d save the syrup from the can. We’d boil the Pierogi, drilled the heated syrup on them and a little sprinkle of sugar. Delicious 🤤 I miss my grandpa 💔

so they can be filled with a variety of fruit fillings? here in Cleveland Lekvar perogi is very popular as are the the savory flavors, and for a southern Italian guy i have to be honest they are a favorite of mine!
