👇👇 Let me explain… Thank God I decided to paint the ceiling white — because when I was down there renovating, even though it looked white, once I started painting it I was like, “Oh my God… this ceiling was more brown than white.” 😳 Taking the time to repaint it completely brightened the entire space, and it was 100% worth it. Now here’s my painting rule (sorry to my unmotivated friends 😂): you have to do two coats. I don’t care what the can says. One coat only works if you slop it on super thick, and then you’re left with streaks, drips, and a messy finish. A lighter first coat lets you see what needs fixing, smooth out streaks, and then the second coat gives you that clean, professional look every time.
