I’d love to know if all of these people who are so bothered about animal testing also eat animals? Feels like “omg it tests on animals” is such a virtue signal when it’s like.. but babe you eat them

Animal testing doesn’t work like how you think. It’s small patches of product on an animal to test reactions, not actual mascara ha

A lot of the time they cannot 1000% say they do not test in animas because certain country’s have a requirement to test before they would sell them. For example China x

Just so you know if any product is sold in china the Chinese government personally test it on animals. But then again Chinese people eat cats and dogs

Many brands choose to sell in mainland China which means the products are tested on animals by law. They word it “we do not test on animals unless where required by law” to be sneaky. Done cruelty free brands - e.l.f, Nyx, Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Rimmel

Despite these statements, L’Oréal still appears on cruelty-free watchlists such as PETA’s “do test” list because: it sells products in countries (notably China) where authorities may require animal testing by law for safety/regulatory approval.

Anyone that sells in China has to (by law) test on animals so they do technically still test on animals 💔

L’Oréal specifically doesn’t test on animals - but because they sell in places like china that do, people will still have a problem with you using it. I wouldn’t entertain comments like this rose, you’ll never please everyone x

They themselves do not test the product on animals but they use ingredients that have already been tested on animals... like most companies

What people don’t understand is while lloreal doesn’t, when brands want to sell in Chinese, the local market tests their products on animals, it has to be done to sell their. So lloreal could choose not to sell there, but they do sadly x
