as another 6th generation Montanan, I will say that Carter's Bootmaker USED to be literally across Main. They opened there in 1994 and were forced to move out to Four Corners right around the same time that Luchese moved in because of an extreme rise in rent. These businesses are opening AT THE EXPENSE OF our locally created businesses.

Good post! I have always wanted a pair of Lucchese boots. I wish they would make just a basic calf skin ropers in a solid color. They use so many off the wall leathers with fake patina . How about calf skin in dark brown….

Lucchese's are nice but the shaft is SO NARROW that its not a great boot if you have even normal calves, you better have a pretty slender calf. But yes, super beautiful boot.
