@snatched.anna: About 40% of U.S. adults are obese, and only about 0.6% of people are Anna. So when we talk about eating disorders, the real large-scale problem is overeating, not undereating. Most adults struggle more with removing cookies from their diet than with starving themselves. No one is going to suddenly stop eating and faint just because we promote a healthy lifestyle. What I find toxic is the normalization of binge-eating content, mukbang videos with burgers and burritos, and the whole “big girl found sport ” narrative not encouraging discipline and better habits.
