Idk why they treat Spanish like some secret code or secret society thing. Like it comes from white Spaniards. It’s a European language just like English. It’s a product of colonization at the end of the day.

it’s weird that in the US it’s considered taboo to want to learn another language by some ppl, esp something like spanish when it’s the 2nd most spoken language here, like most black ppl esp in places like new york or la live in close proximity to spanish speakers, so it shouldn’t be weird at all that u wanna learn, ppl are weird 😭
