Even if they’re in the parks , parking lot. Why not just ask them to move along. We need your ID. So when I type in my little report I can fill in all the boxes on the screen.

Both sides are wrong. Cop doesn’t have authority to ID unless they refuse to leave and are charged with criminal trespass for being there after closing. Buddies are wrong as the parking lot is part of the park. That’s why they drive by a gate driving in the entrance.
