In the school I work in, we have children who are from very "well off" families and always decked out in designer labels but never bring a water bottle to school, never have a costume for dress up days, never read at home and are just generally not being parented beyond what looks good aesthetically. The Beckhams strike me as that type of parent.

I worked at a preschool for wealthy families and remote parenting is common. Parents are often traveling for work and holidays so the children are raised by support staff, Nannie’s, house keepers etc. it’s a bit sad at how common it is and it’s viewed as normal.

Once I walked passed Brooklyn and did a massive fart by mistake. We both looked at each other and laughed, he was really emotionally intelligent that he didn’t make me feel embarrassed. I could tell in that moment he may just have needed some moments from normal life to make him smile. I he really did worry me, I felt that he needed to surround himself with more people like this and maybe just maybe he needed some friends that did this.
