I post 95% of the same content on TikTok and IG, with the occasional photo post on IG. The only main difference for me is posting stories to IG more!! For me it is too hard to create different content. I still tag all the brands on both and receive more inbound DMs from brands on IG with way less followers, so don’t worry about the follower count!

I’m not a content creator girly, just a content consumer, but will say I’m not a huge fan of creators that just put the same content on both platforms.. I usually just end up un-following on one platform. I can respect that it’s easier to reuse the content than to create fresh content for both, just don’t find value in watching the same content in two places. 💕

Honestly whatever I post on tiktok is what I post on Instagram!!!! I see that that’s typically what other content creators do BUT I need to be better at posting more carousels & pictures vs reels. I also post on my personal platform & it’s more non-followers vs followers for all of my content. Instagram just takes a LOT longer to figure out what audience to push your content to. Hopefully that helps??

As a consumer, most of the creators I follow post most of the same things on both platforms with more of the yappy posts only in TikTok. I think most of them do have a lot more followers on TikTok though. As someone who is new to TikTok and viewed most of my content on Instagram before, I loved GRWMs and similar content on insta! But I’m old and not cool, so who knows haha

I hate how curated instagram is. Like I cannot get with instagram. I was so mad when TikTok was down

IG is shorter form, aesthetic or funny trends if that’s your niche, carousels more curated where TikTok is longer form, more real and less curated, more like chitty chatting and more educational

i feel like instagram likes less talking and shorter vids! so if you wanna do GRWM content, maybe just put a song over it!

I work in social marketing for behavioral health promotion. I’m 42 and the GenZ’s and I use TikTok but most of my 30 something millennials don’t do TikTok and do instagram. We post 2-4 times a day on instagram for work. I say copy paste it and hit the people who aren’t on TikTok.

I prefer tik tok because it feels more fun and casual! Where as Instagram feels so curated sometimes? But let me tell you, I fucking LOVE my Instagram stories 🤣
