I was connected to his soul he was my best friend and lover at the same time but we fought to much at one point bc of my insecurities and I was tired of the fighting, so one day after almost two years together I pretended and reposted about having a new crush so I could push him away bc we loved each other so much that we just couldn’t break up even if we did we would talk that same day and get back together again an again even after he cheated on me with someone I confronted him over 5 times he apologized over 5 times and I forgave him over 5 times and we still ended up together, but I realized so many things as much as I miss him as much as I want him back I made the choice to lie and say I fell for someone else just so we could finally breakup why because I was tired of trying when he wouldn’t I tried fixing things even when HE was the one who cheated and he didn’t seem to try one bit mind you I had and still have many things going on at home I have my own life I deal with I deal with a lot of things and yes I understand he has his own things he deals with but cheating doesn’t fix things and the one sided thing gets tiring I tried and tried but he didn’t seem to try so I gave up and I made up this whole other person I “fell” for an made sure he saw it an the day he confronted me I broke up with him in the harshest way, although I regret hurting him like that I prefer this choice over continuing our continuous fighting and hurting each other I rather him find someone who won’t fight with him constantly and he would actually decide to really try for and I rather find someone who will try fixing things and won’t make things feel one sided and won’t make promises they know they can’t keep, and won’t cheat on me just because his friends told him to mess around with someone’s feelings bc of past knowing they’re in a relationship with someone who has always been there for them even after they cheated, who let them stay at there parents place when they came to visit because they wernt prepared correctly, who’s family pays for their place to stay bc they didnt have enough money, and even after I tried reaching out he ignored every call and text so that told me enough.
