It's only a bubble in the sense that a bunch of AI start-ups are going to fail and there are many popping up and getting funding when they probably shouldn't but it doesn't negate the technology. Even the dot com bubble wasn't "wrong" it was just ahead of the times. People thought that the Internet will be central to our lives and they were right but couldn't monetize it quickly enough. AI is moving ahead at such speed that the products of many companies will become obsolete before they can even make a dent but believe AI will be the most revolutionary technology ever invented because it will radically change how we live, even more so than the Internet, although of course AI depends on it.

It’s a bubble because they are buying ram that doesn’t exist yet, to go in graphics cards that don’t exist, to go in data centers that may or may not ever be built to be powered by water and power infrastructure that may never get built to meet demand that is a small fraction of what they are saying is there.

I think you misunderstood what a bubble is. It isn't to do with quality. It is to do with investment and speculation on future value where new technologies are initially overvalued and that leads to later crashes. Whether Will Smith looks better now or not is irrelevant
