i agree, but my door is literally facing another persons door. They have a camera & i don’t. He sees me every time i take my dog out, who comes and goes, when i receive packages or door dash, how many times i go shopping lmao and basically any time i come and go. He is a nice neighbor around my age, but it’s just weird to think someone can literally see me 24/7

lived in a apartment for 20 years and never had a ring door bell until the last 2 years. Had someone attempt to kick down my door, unlock my front door, attempt to open it, had someone knock at 2 am 😳. I highly recommend

Matter of fact, yall should be getting security systems. Ring or SimpliSafe has entry sensors, cameras, motion detectors, glass break sensors etc. My apartment is like fort KNOX. And these are good bc they travel easy if you move!

My apartment doesn’t allow them. It’s listed on our thick lease agreement.

And ensure you ask when touring apartments if they allow doorbell cameras. Some don’t, which in my opinion is a red flag.

I found it so weird how my lease says that they're not allowed, yet everyone has them. So I emaled the office and they just said it's fine as long as it's just my area in the frame. What's the point in saying they're forbidden then?

My old complex wouldn’t allow it. But it was probably because across from my apartment the landlord was literally walking into a tenant’s apartment with a plate of ❄️…. lol

Yes, I’m in a small safe town, but I just bought two and installed them on both doors. Sometimes small towns are the most vulnerable areas because everyone lets their guard down. I feel much safer.
