@K.Crouse: We went scuba diving instead of snorkeling, and jt was 10/10! I also recommend a luau that is off resort. We went to Germaine’s Luau on the big island and enjoyed it. The resort ones seem cheesy and not as traditional.

Guide along app. Hawaii. Use it while driving to hear stories etc. sunset cruise was a lot of fun and great pics. Also sea turtles at the beginning of road to Hana.

Someone on here mentioned certain sunscreen that isn’t allowed, so you might want to check into that. I wish I could remember the creator. Hope you have a great trip! My rule when traveling has always been, if you forget something, you can always buy it there 😅

Sunset or sunrise on the Haleakala, if you do a sunrise book way in advance, you don't have to book for a sunset just get up there.Early parking spots fill up quick on top also, if you get sick from windy rhodes for elevation pack.Some medicine The road to hana has a lot of beautiful views very windy, pretty much plan the whole day and buy gas before you go up the garden of eve was on that road. They had a food shack out at the entrance of it had some really good fresh fruit smoothies If you're planning on doing any snorkeling, take water shoes

list of places you want to visit, chapstick, phone chargers, camera, first aid kit, check the weather so you will know what type of clothes you need to pack. carry on bag ipad/tablet, snacks, any medicines you might need (headache, cough meds, nausea etc)
