If both people mutually are kind, and trying to get to know each other, it makes it so easy to talk to each other. I find this isn’t the case. Most don’t want to get to know me. They don’t keep the conversation going. One word answers and then I have to keep asking things. 😭

I concur. Once you treat a conversation like you would with other people. For instance non-romantic options. You will sound and feel more genuine in those dialogs.
