I saw this 26 years ago in JAPAN when I went to Osaka and Toyko. Nigerians there were telling everyone that they were Black Americans and were in SHOCK when they met me...a REAL Black American!! They were amazed by me and all the girls avoided them.

I touched on this in the past, I got partners in the military stationed all over from Germany to Japan… and they all had so many stories of many Africans not just Nigerians pretending to be Black Americans to win the locals over in those places.

Honestly, I was traveling in Asia and the Uber driver was giving me a bad attitude. He ask was I African..I said "No, I am American. Not African ". His attitude changed and was the nicest person.
