Michael Block earned $288,000 for finishing 15th at the 2023 PGA Championship, and elite coaches like Butch Harmon can charge $1,500 an hour. 🌍 Mini Tour pros The grinders of pro golf. Constant travel, missed cuts, and often losing money. Many rely on sponsors or side jobs, but a strong season can still bring in $50k+. 🚐 Korn Ferry Tour One step below the PGA Tour — and where money can get serious. In 2024, Matt McCarty earned over $1 million in prize money. But costs are high: $60k–$80k a year just to compete, and many players still finish in the red. 🏆 PGA Tour The highest level of professional golf. Average players earn $600k–$1.2m a year, while stars make millions. Last year, Scottie Scheffler earned ~$27m in prize money, and with bonuses and sponsorships his total easily topped $40m.
