If you’ve had birth trauma and almost died why would you then be happy to make payment for someone else to take that risk for you. By the way surrogacy has 4 times more risk of severe maternal incidents

People’s views on surrogacy is soooo warped, people are willing surrogates you do know that right? There not forced into this. If someone has had extreme birth trauma, or is unable to carry a child naturally this is one of the only options to have a biological child

one and done after a traumatic experience myself, partner and family cannot get over. I would never expect another woman to carry a child for me after that. this is definitely a class issue

Ryan is one hell of a man. What he must have witnessed and what he had to do, almost losing his partner while having to take care of their newborn baby must have felt impossible at the time. I can totally understand why he is so fearful. He will 100% have some PTSD. I remember thinking at the time, how the hell does he keep going? He obviously loves his family very much.

Adoption could be another route and wouldn’t contain medical trauma

surrogates do it because they want to so its not like shes forcing anyone. she had soo many complications i can fully understand why she wouldn't do it again naturally.

It upsets me to see how many negative comments there are about this. You both have been through so much, and this must not have been an easy decision for you, either way. I wish you all the best with this new journey, and hope you get to enjoy some of the time that was robbed from you last time x

As someone who has also been through traumatic surgery & ended up in ITU had years of PTSD and health related anxieties and was told I could not have any more children. I do feel that if things are good now, then why not cherish that and keep going with that? I feel blessed to be in a good place now and I would not want to risk my mental health again.

Given what happened with their first pregnancy- why would they go down that road again? I don’t understand why the need for another if it caused so much trauma first time around? This doesn’t seem sensible at all?
