An older lady at my workplace was talking to me and we somehow got to talking about me beeing Asexual and arose. She just looked me dead in the eyes and said "Did you talk with your doctor about that?" Its not like anything people can say really surprises me anymore but I still don't like it

I usually use microlabels to explain my place on both the ace and aro spectrum and people have been somewhat normal about it so far, its me being aroace and pansexual at the same time that gets people confused, I dont get it

My mum told me recently to get over myself and I was truly baffled because, politely, I already have moments of doubt about whether there’s something wrong with me without that 😭 (I am also aware there’s technically nothing wrong with me, but everyone else finds it so *easy* while I’m just repelled and it doesn’t feel normal sometimes)
