The French and the British grabbed men from their colonies(Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, CAR, Kenya) and shipped them off to Southeast Asia to fight during WWII. These men didn’t receive the compensation they were promised.

There were also a lot of Africans who fought on continental Africa in WW1 for the British, French, and Germans. After WW1, some French African soldiers even were used to occupy parts of the Ruhr Valley to secure war repayments from Germany and led to rising anti-Blackness in the area after some of these soldiers had kids with local women

My great grandfather fought in a artillery regiment in the British army African Pioneer Corps (APC) they fought hard knocked out four German tanks in Rommel’s Panzer Corps they were sent home and got nothing , no pays no pensions nothing.

The French committed a massacre against the Senegalese men who fought for them in ww2. They were just trying to get proper compensation after freeing them against the nazi and the French officers opened fire on them and murdered hundreds of Africans. Then they tried to sweep it under the rug. They only recently admitted of the massacre and still gave an underestimate of the number of victims.

The article is piece of propaganda, it’s the British and the French that where forcing Africans from their colonies to fight the Nazis. there are Africans fighting in the Ukraine war but I don’t think they are kidnapped. It’s still a possibility.
