It’s so disappointing that a self described psychopath on prep played a literal teenager, in a recycled whitewashed version where a main plot line is driven by the othering of a South Asian man, and without a HINT of ironic she’s wearing colonized jewel from the icons actual love story of South Asia. Oof.
