What about code PO5BO? The grill air shutter? Mine came on and seemed to fix itself in a day or two. Online states that this is a known issue and BMW has extended the warranty on this malfunction?

Yes! Just put a new gas cap on and voilà light disappeared!

This applies to EVERY BMW — E30, E46, F30, G20, old, new, gas, hybrid… all of them. Before the scan tool. Before the dealership. 👉 Check. The. Gas. Cap. Be honest — has this happened to you? 😅⬇️

had the engine light on and off on my f30 320d turned out to be the o2 sensor for the adblue system which is why i changed back to petrol

I learned a lesson on my 2024 ,BMW 740 l. Never bring it to the dealer with a Warning message on your screen,they will charge you $210 an hour for a diagnostic fee and tell you it’s your fault..never again will I buy this brand….
