Honestly I wanna flip the question. Like, I'm not going to judge monogamous people, but too me it's wild that I wouldn't love and trust my partner enough to not let him be with other people. Maybe it's because I'm neurospicy but I've just never been able to understand monogamy. I also don't experience jealousy. Envy, yes. Occasional insecurities, yes. Fomo, absolutely. But not jealousy.

as a monogamous person with some polyamourous friends it's interesting to see different perspectives on relationships. Funnily enough my biggest concern with polyamory is: how do you even have time for all that? xD Open relationships might be easier to logistically manage, but I've heard of polyam people having synched up calendars to make sure they schedule their dates and stuff. And honestly, I admire that, but def don't envy that. xD I'm already struggling to see my best friends as much as I want. Like everybody has to deal with jealousy and boundaries and stuff, so that's not that different between monogamous and non-monogamous people. But finding time to actually meet up and do stuff is actually my deal breaker. xD

I have a friend in Berlin who is in an open relationship. Can confirm, it's very normal there. He has dated almost everyone in Berlin at some point (at least that's the running joke in our friend group).
