@tshepithepizzamaker: @Sawubona Music Jam NPC is a prominent backyard music muso house in Soweto, Chiawelo. Started in 2012, it is an artist project/platform pioneered by Lucky Thobela, who has extensive experience in music and production as a drum kit player. The backyard music sessions take place every Tuesday, known as "Magic Tuesday," from 17:00 until midnight. The Sawubona project provides a platform for underprivileged musicians, offering them an opportunity to have their music exposed and appreciated by audiences from across Gauteng and beyond. Over time, the project has rapidly grown and now attracts artists and audiences from international countries.
