@codermumslife: I see “perfect” AI-generated code fail every single day. Here’s the problem: The code LOOKS flawless. The syntax is clean. The AI sounds confident. And it’s completely wrong. If you don’t understand how to break down problems, spot logical errors, or question outputs—you’ll ship broken code and never know why it failed. This is what keeps me up at night: We’re raising a generation of kids who will use AI tools without understanding how to verify if the output is garbage. They won’t know WHAT to ask AI to build. They won’t catch WHEN AI gets the logic wrong. They’ll blindly trust smart-sounding answers. That’s dangerous. Teaching kids syntax is pointless when AI can code faster than humans. But teaching kids computational thinking—how to think logically, break problems into steps, understand cause and effect, and debug their own reasoning? That’s the skill AI can’t replace. The kids who will thrive aren’t the ones learning Python. They’re the ones learning to: → Question outputs → Spot patterns→ Think through edge cases → Catch mistakes before they matter More AI in the world = More need for humans who can supervise it. I’m not teaching my kids to compete with AI. I’m teaching them to manage it.
