💗 I’m just a normal mum of four who wanted something I could do from home, around the kids, without needing to clock in somewhere or build my whole life around a job. I wasn’t a designer. I had no clue how Etsy worked. I didn’t have some big tancy business plan sitting there ready to go. I just found digital templates... and thought, maybe I could learn this. So l did 🙏 I started creating simple templates in Canva like invites, listing them on Etsy and slowly learning what people were actually searching for and buying. And that tiny little thing I decided to try turned into four Etsy stores, more than 46,000 sales and an income I can make from home around normal family life. 🙌 That’s still the part that gets me. Because I know there’s another mum sitting there right now thinking she’d love something of her own. Something flexible. Something she can build in the evenings, during nap time, after school drop-off... whenever life gives her a little window. You do not need thousands of followers to make Etsy sales. My stores have no social media accounts attached to them. You don’t need to be naturally creative either. I learnt as I went, and I still use simple tools like Canva and Al every single day. And you definitely don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. You just need to learn the process, create the first template, list it... then keep going. I wasted months thinking about starting before I finally did it. And now I always wonder what would’ve happened if l’d started sooner 🤦‍♀️ So if this has been sitting in the back of your mind for a while, maybe this is your little push to actually give it a go.
