@andrewloves_: There’s an Irish Pub in Charlotte serving all the classics - It’s called @mchalespub and their fish and chips is one of the best I’ve found in Charlotte. They take haddock, dip it in a house made beer batter, and fry it until it’s nice and crispy. Then they serve it on a pile of fries with lemon and chili tartar.

But that’s just one option. They have Beef Stew, Shepherds Pie, Corned Beef Sandwiches - my personal favorite is the spice bag though. Fried chicken or shrimp with the jalapeños, onions, peppers and curry sauce. It’s so flavorful and downright addictive. I have no chill when it comes to eating the fries dipped in curry sauce. If corned beef is more your style - the reuben is a must order. They grill up the meat, topped with cabbage and cheese, let get it super melty and then put it on a toasted marbled rye with Russian dressing. I also order that with fries, but I think you can substitute the Mac & Cheese or side salad for a small upcharge. And when the weather is cold though, their Beef Stew is my go to. Made with Guinness for extra depth of flavor, it’s so warm and comforting. But you also need to save room for dessert because their sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream is very underrated.

Oh - and when the weather is nice, they have great outdoor space in the back.
