It actually looks very much like fall leaves... so the book and your nature's theory really work together

I never updated you but my husbands wedding tux was heavily inspired by you! We took a chance on the brown and green and we loved it!

That grimace was a hint of kind of red flag. Cultural color combinations are weird if you are not exposed to them, most definitely. What is considered great for my Japanese relatives is considered to bland and muted for my Portuguese relatives. one side is all about balanced and Earth and natural tones whether they be in the ocean or trees anything along that line whereas the other side is why use two colors when you can use five... on the same house And if your eyes aren't bleeding, then you aren't even trying.
I'm glad that you are pushing your boundaries and breaking through that thin crust of xenophobia a lot of people have with regards to color combinations that are more culturally skewed than media established.

The taupe brown appears in the Page of the book more like dark rose taupe than brown. The outfit looks lovely, but I wonder would it look more fresh a with hint of rose?

I learned long ago that it’s more about tone than color. You can mix any color, but you can’t mix neon and pastel necessarily. 😅
