People don’t talk about how it comes in waves. Some days I completely forget that it ever happened and other days it’s on a constant loop. I’m glad you posted this, as someone who was unfaithful and didn’t really give her a chance to explain all of her feelings I needed this. Even though we aren’t together anymore, and I have absolutely been changed (thanks to the overwhelming grace of God) I still needed this. I love your guys story, God can restore ANYTHING even if my situation didn’t work, I 100% believe nothing is outside of his restoration.

4+ years since he divorced me for my brother’s wife, bragging about everything he was doing with her totally devastated me. This Saturday, 2/7/26, would have been our 51st anniversary. He completely broke and destroyed me. I had 2 nervous breakdowns, I now have brain damage, and PTSD. I am anxious all the time and severe panic attacks. We were married 48+ years. I am in EMDR with the option to get ECT, which is electrical convulsive therapy. It’s shocks to the brain to rewire the parts of my brain that no longer work. I’ll need around 6-12 treatments in the hospital. I cry all the time and my brain is never at peace as there’s utter chaos in my head😢😢😢 I’ll never understand why he did this to me as we married at 16 years old. He took my entire life away. They aren’t even together any longer.
