I work in fragrances and we don’t use DEP anymore bc market doesn’t like it - so even IF it had issues it’s not commonly used in fragrances

I’m tired of people claiming all fragrance has phthalates because some random article online said so. Pthalates are NOT added to perfumes. The only way I can see pthalates being in perfumes is if it’s a very small perfume brand that uses DEP diluted fragrance oils.

I don’t understand why people are trying so hard to prove that fragrances are bad for health, while there’s a regulation and the fragrances are used in really small quantities, people just say the most random things, and somehow it the easiest thing to believe
