I’ve started to broaden my gaming history I just picked up path of exile and genuinely Ts is so fucking fun I’m doing my own build despite the advice not to and I’m just playing the game finding new shit left and right. It’s so confusing but at the same time it’s so fun. Doesn’t really have relevance to the topic just wanted to share

Its also weird. If your top 10 isnt composed of obscure games that came out in 1994 and its a jrpg that sold 3 copies then you’re not a real gamer. God forbid the oldest game you have in your top 10 is 15 years old

after the e33 hate and the turn based game on general like bg3 I already lost trust for the "gamers" who they said that ppl like metacritic and ign they don't know what to say but after 2025 game awards well even the so called "gamers" can't be trusted (not talking about the YouTube gamers or reviews) but don't take anything of X and TikTok cuz they all so ahh "gamers" there is some good ppl out here tho

I’ve seen someone make a post about how story based games are trash and how “they don’t wanna go on the game with the bros” like 2k and what not I’m replaying Spider-Man and it’s SOOO good I’d rather play that than 2k, madden, black ops 3 story is nice tho

i love games I love playing them even if they are not design specially for me I can still enjoy the experience, I just finished elder ring my frist ever soulslike it was so fun but it took me a while to be "good" at it that's so fun
