I had a Bail Bondsman call me one day. I rejected the call thinking it was spam. I then got a text "Hey, John said you wouldn't answer so he asked me to text you. He is in jail and asked if you can bail him out." First off, John was not someone I expected to need bailed out of jail. Ever. John was also 3 hours away in another state. He will never live it down.

ED nurse here, awkward is contacting estranged family/friends who want nothing to do with the person. Sometimes they say I hope they die or good riddance, you try not to judge because you don’t know what happened to get to that point.

A friend did this to me 😂 thankfully he just told me, I didn't have to find out in an emergency. Turns out he'd been writing me down for like 4 years because we all live in a country we're not from (so no family here) and his logic was 'you'll pick up the phone'

Omg,my phone called 911 and my emergency contacts on my way to work last month. My BFF called me first, followed by my husband then an hour later my daughter (25) and 6 HOURS LATER my son (21) 🙄 Choose wisely 🤣

My husband was my EC until he passed in a damn accident 14 months ago. Now I remind his urn that him being like that has made my mom my EC and that woman is more of an emergency than I’ll ever be! The doc office asked if they could share my info with her. I said sure but if I’m ever in a coma she’s going to tell you to wake me up cuz she won’t know anything 😂

I found out I had a godparent when I was TWENTY FOUR because he MESSAGED ME ON FACEBOOK to ask if I was my mom's kid 😦 I went to my mom and was like "do you know this guy?" and she says, "oh yeah, that's your godfather" WHAT?!?! I've never even HEARD of this man before
