For people saying the oldest is acting as mom, that's probably her chore is to give the smallest the guidance and help with baths. It's not like she's running the whole day, no need to be dramatic and make mamma feel like she's doing something wrong! Obviously they don't do this often. Plus when does the eldest not like to be in charge? lol

Yeah. As the eldest daughter I dislike this. All that did was make the older daughter responsible for YOUR children. I was put in this position as a child. It isn’t fair & it does affect us into adulthood. Parentification is not ok.

Oh wow the comments. This is wonderful. All these kids are doing is learning life skills. None of the kids looked like they hated it. No tears tantrums. Believe me I’m sure it’s not always this smooth.
