No judgement! I use jar roux too! Some of us don’t have as much time as our mawmaws did for a good old fashioned roux.

For Christmas, Ill make my own roux. For a random cold weekend, we are using a jar. If I get 1 day off of work, im not spending the whole day another stove stirring a pot.
