My Mamma Grazia’ Braciola 🇮🇹 pronounced BRUCHEEOLA 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 A traditional Sicilian dish usually cooked on Sunday’s when the family gathers for lunch. Served either with spaghetti or bread. In some cases people use thinly sliced pork fillets. Tender, thinly sliced silverside steaks with a delicious interior of; 1. Salt (no pepper because the cheese I use has pepper in it already) 2. Breadcrumbs 3. A combo of freshly chopped parsley with and a tiny amount of crushed garlic. 4. Pecorino Pepato cheese as seen in my reel from Delicatessens everywhere 5. Mutti Sugo Semplice Parmigiano Reggiano… this is a pre cooked sauce that i use when I’m in a rush, it is so good you don’t even need to make your own! As seen in the reel, save time by using pre made Mutti Sugo Semplice Parmigiano Reggiano, it’s an incredibly flavoured sauce imported from Italy. You can close off the Braciola with cooking twine or toothpicks… I used both methods for you to see. In all honesty, once cooked, it’s easier to remove the toothpicks than the twine. For the meat prep follow the steps in the Reel, once all the Braciole are ready and sealed pop them in a fry pan to sear them on all sides, on high heat add 1/2 glass of wine for extra flavour, (red for red meat, white for white meats) then cook for a few more minutes and pop them in the boiling sauce then lower the heat to a gentle simmer, cook for about 10-15 min… just enough time to melt the cheese in the Braciola. Buon Appetito and Enjoy! @muttipomodoroau @muttipomodoroit #muttipomodoro #braciole #braciola
