I remember Jenny, who owned the mine, complaining that as she closed up one night she found a heap of rubble in her public bathroom, and an unfamiliar door. The door led to the church, who had decided it was easier to tunnel into her bathroom than build their own 🤣. That's Coober Pedey for you, there was always a tunnelling machine going through somebody's living room 🤷🏻♂️
