Transcendental meditation is more or less bullshit, it works, but you don’t have to buy a mantra from the organization. It’s been shown that choosing a mantra that has more personal meaning to you works better.

TM is amazing, but it is a practice, not a panacea. My practice has been inconsistent, but when I was practicing regularly it helped me be more disciplined. TM is a practice where you condition your mind to actually quiet down and relax,
