We have a candidate in our district that is EVERYTHING leftist have been demanding. He's got a hard stance against Israel, he's anti ice, he's pro choice, pro universal healthcare. Everything. But I'm already seeing people say that the way he talks about Israel (says we need to stop sending money, support peace and safety for people in Palestine and end Israels attack on people living there) is not hard enough as if he hasn't actively been sharing that he is 100% pro Palestine. Also complaining that his climate stance is not good enough and I'm like...okay so ig we're getting the republican.

people need to remember progress is a staircase not an elevator. small steps in the right direction IS better than nothing, and there will NEVER be a time we just get to take the elevator and over night we have a perfect leader and system. so either take a few steps in the right direction, even if it's not perfect but better than the last step. Or plant your feet and be stuck forever cause the next step isn't as high as you wanted it to be.
