Yup a riptide snatched me and my son out of nowhere and took us far out, at a beach in Puerto Rico and we blacked out screaming for help smh only way we survived cuz some really nice surfers pulled us out and swam us to shore. 😩 they literally only found us cuz when I lost consciousness, I pushed my son up to the surface of the water one last time and they saw him. All I felt was someone grab my hand, pull me up, and push me onto the side of their board. ❤️Wish i could see those guys again to give them a big hug

I got caught in a riptide once, but I had no idea. I was just swimming to shore but not getting any closer and quickly getting more tired. I only realized how in danger I was when life guards suddenly starting swimming towards me. I haven’t swam out beyond where I can stand since.
