Why is it important to have faith in Jesus Christ, why can't I go to heaven by just being a "good person"!! This is a question many people ask, and the answer is very different to what people expect. Jesus told us, we are "ALL sinners" before a perfect God, as none of us can keep God's law. The law is simply love God and love your neighbour as yourself. These 2 laws sound simple to obey ... right?, but are in fact impossible for any person to do. How many of us have truly loved our neighbour as ourselves??? ..... none. God the Father is perfectly righteous and cannot tolerate ANY sin. Only PERFECT people can be allowed into Heaven. Hang on you say, if the law is impossible to keep, nobody can ever be perfect, and therefore go to heaven. This is true, and we are all heading to Hell. However God knows we are imperfect, and therefore need a saviour. To this end, The Father sent his Son on a RESCUE mission to save sinners from Hell. God says if you believe in his Son you will be saved, it's effectively a "get out of jail free card". Jesus is himself God, and can therefore take the just punishment for our sins upon himself. He takes our eternal punishment, and in return we are credited with his "Perfect Righteousness". Therefore God the Father sees us as perfect and allows us into Heaven. In simple terms this is what the new testament teaches us. The incredibly difficult question here is, why did God design salvation this way and why create laws he knew man would not be able to keep?? To be fair this is a very difficult question to answer, and I don't have an answer. Ultimately there must be sin in order for God to show his grace. But I think it is fair to say that the bible doesn't really explain this point.

@Kat💎:SPREAD THE GOSPEL: (Psalm 34:18) "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted." God will always be near you when you need Him most and at your lowest point. Don't give up. No matter how difficult life gets, God has a plan for you, and I promise He will heal you. Just put everything in His hands. The rapture is going to happen, whether it's today, tomorrow, or centuries from now. It's drawing near; the prophecies of the Bible are coming alive. Repent and believe, Jesus is the Messiah. He will forgive you, accept you. Accept all His children. Believe in Him, repent, forgive your neighbors. Love everyone, even if they do things you don't agree with. Jesus would want you to forgive them, as He does. Forgive each and every one. It's not too late to repent. I'm not forcing my religion, I just want to see you all in heaven. In the name of Jesus we say?
