I seriously love you with all my heart but I have to clarify that the (Khamsa) is for the 5 verses of صورة الفلق which we as Muslims say to eject the evil eye

To sum up, yes muslims believe in the evil eye that is why we say mashallah & say quranic verses if need be. But do not believe in amulets. Allah is the only protector.

The Orthodox Church accepts the evil eye, and we even have special prayers against the evil eye. So please when you talk about Christianity, consider that there are different denominations.

These symbols r not an Islamic thing. We believe that the word of God is the thing that protects us from evil eye. In fact we are not allowed to own such symbols, because we believe it’s a form of Shirk. It’s like we believe in an object that can protect us, however God is our only protector. No one else and nothing else. The Khamsa or the Ein are cultural symbols. The blue eye originated for example from ancient Egypt.

Christian church (or at least greek orthodoxy) accepts evil eye as a notion. Especially older women have practises to make evil eye to go away, and when a home suffers from various mishappenings we have a ritual called "Ευχέλαιο" (direct translation is wish- oil or pray- oil)

Oddly enough as a catholic from a Caribbean island (predominantly Catholic country) we do have a healthy respect for the warding off of the evil eye or “mal de ojo” as we call it. I think I it is a cultural thing depending on who is around you.

Muslims do believe in the evil eye but I hate it when people blame everything on the evil eye. Like bad things happen and that’s God’s will. We are also should believe in Qadr.

The evil eye attracts bad spirits. You shouldn’t be wearing it as a necklace. Or displaying it anywhere.

We do believe in the evil eye however unfortunately most of us aren’t aware that those beads aren’t going to protect anyone from it and are actually just beads

Maybe it’s just because I’m a revert and not a born or Arab Muslim but I was told that symbols or trinkets are not acceptable to protect you from these things as that is a trust that should be put in God not a $5 trinket from Walmart. Either way, blessed lent my abrahamic sister 🤲🏻💜
