Gravity isn’t a switch. Near Earth, gravity is primarily set by Earth’s mass (and your distance from its center). For gravity at the surface to suddenly drop to ~zero, Earth would need to lose essentially all its mass-energy or spacetime would need to change in a way that breaks modern physics. That’s not something that can happen “for seven seconds” and then revert.
