Big fan but to be honest all that stuff you mentioned has an effect but it doesn’t deny change the laws of thermodynamics. It still comes down to how much calories you eat. So if you’re over weight it’s because you eat too much. I would never say things like this guy does but I’m not disagreeing that there is a gluttony problem.

Most pastors are just very stressed out, and that causes extremely high levels of cortisol, which prevents the body from losing fat and causes weight gain

I have hypothyroidism, no thyroid, and a lot of my medication makes me gain weight the having no thyroid is probably the worst cause when I do lose weight it’s a very very slow process it takes months to lose 5 pounds for me.

I have small fiber neuropathy and hypothyroidism. If I have a "flare ", I gain weight. I gained 30lbs in 2 months. The doctor is constantly monitoring my thyroid to adjust medication. Medication is the right dosage and now I am loosing weight. The battle is with the body, not my eating habits.

I found out I had a severely leaking mitral valve and a weakened left ventricle in October and ended up having open heart surgery. With all the new medications and edema, I gained 30 lbs. Now I've lost 20 lbs in fluid so far but this guy would no doubt judge me too.
