when I was reading ts manga, it really reminded me of the song "cake". especially the "I am just a piece of cake" and "your just a piece of meat to me". my reasoning for this is the cake represents the demons/ the winged lion. while the meat represents the people in the series. to dive deeper into my point. cake is an artificial thing made from outside things and desire of others. meat is from the living things that we take it from. Cake (or the winged lion) was made how it is from the desire of things. like the milk from cows is from them trying to survive and humans taking the milk from them, and the eggs we used are from chickens desire to survive and create children to keep their bloodline growing. and humans desire for flavors, food, and whatever allowed us to create cake and feast on it. Just like how the winged lion grants wishes to eventually build up desires in its current masters heart to eventually feast on it. like humans feast on other animals.
